business since 1996. The company has a large pool of trained transcriptionists
who are tested prior to being added to the subcontractor pool.
Since company standards are very high, only about 30 percent of
those testing actually pass the test. Once a transcriptionist
is added to the pool, they are trained extensively to ensure the
highest quality of transcripts to clients.
Premier Transcription Service maintains the
highest ethical standards of confidentiality and integrity as
defined by CASRO's Code of Standards and Ethics for Survey Research.
Signed confidentiality agreements are on file for all transcriptionists
working for the organization.
Pricing is done via email or telephone. Rates
are based on recording length, not hourly or by the line, so costs
are known upfront. If elements are encountered that affect quoted
price, such as poor sound quality, highly technical content, foreign
accents, et cetera, the client is notified to approve additional
